Thermoelectric Conversion

LENR Cars is currently working on two alterative solutions to convert heat into electricity:image

  • Free piston Stirling generator
  • Super critical CO2 microturbine

For our initial prototype, the Stirling generator we are sourcing can produce 1.2kW of electricity (220V, AC) continuously.
More powerful system are planned with a 2kW and 7kW version which will start to suit some transportation applications.

Our super-CO2 microturbine alternative is a cost and weight optimization compared to the Stirling solution.
